Motor control design and troubleshooting are key components that distinguish Prime Tech Electric from other electric motor repair shops. We possess the engineering knowledge and expertise required to design custom motor controls for all applications. Traditionally, motor controls were straightforward, consisting of contactors, relays, push buttons, and status lights. These simpler panels offer the benefit of minimal components, which facilitates easy and quick troubleshooting. However, over the years, the use of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) has become more commonplace. At Prime Tech Electric, we not only supply these components but also program the VFDs to meet the specific needs of each customer. Additionally, we offer on-site troubleshooting and programming of VFDs as needed.
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) represent the next step towards a smarter manufacturing environment. Our team is experienced in building, troubleshooting, and programming PLCs to control motors and other devices as required.
